I would like to thank our friends Luisa and Nicki at DOMUS for choosing NOVA Hope for Haiti to be the recipient for their annual Garage Sale Fundraiser for the third year in a row. Because of their hard work, the hard work of our volunteers who worked in the heat on June 1st to sell all of the donated items, DOMUS was able to raise over 3,700 for NOVA!
This brings the total money raised just from the DOMUS garage sale to over $15,000 in the past three years. I am very grateful for their support. Please visit their store when you are in New York.
The money raised at the DOMUS garage sale will be used to cover some of the costs of medicine for our November 2013 medical mission to Haiti. For a typical week long medical mission, the medicine alone costs around $8,000 so this $3,700 is a huge help.
